Lovely little B&B - great welcome and breakfast

We stayed at the Blackcock Inn as we were attending a wedding nearby, and had a great stay. The room was really fresh and clean with ensuite bathroom, and was really quiet so we had a great nights sleep. The landlord and landlady made us feel really welcome and could not have been nicer. The food was great and the breakfast kept us going all day! Well worth the money and reccomended.

Lovely friendly hotel

Stayed for a 3 night break close to relatives. Checked in no probs. Hotel very nice, room clean and pleasant. £1.50 charge for swimming pool, although never had chance to use it. Campsite across from Hotel looked very nice too. Ate in restaurant food reasonable and very nice. Would definately stay again, much nicer than Travel lodge where we normally stop.

We were suprised the Blackcock Hotel did not have a TV or telephone in the room. There also was no mobile signal. The room itself was very nice with a lovely bathroom. The landlady and landlord were very friendly.
