"Drove 6 hours to have the desk lady tell me that I cancelled 2 months ago. Absolutely a lie. She says Expedia notified her saying I canceled. Impossible seeing that I booked it thru Hotels.com. It was draft weekend in Pittsburgh. They new they could charge more so they lied and said I canceled so they could make more money off someone else. Of course they had 1 room available but couldn’t honor the price that I booked mine at. Fortunately I was able to find a nice hotel at the same price she tried to scam me for. It was frustrating it a blessing in disguise. This hotel is rundown, dirty and unsafe."

"The breakfast was fresh. The pancake maker was awesome and nice change from waffles, always waffles. The staff was very friendly, engaging, and most of new the area well. This was especially helpful for my first time visiting the area. Parking was convenient."

"They need to fix their key cards I don’t know how many times I had to go down to the lobby to get them to fix my keys and my friend’s keys who stayed in a different room. Other than that nice!"

"We only received housekeeping for 1 day of a 5 night stay. And.i had to ask for that. They do housekeeping every other day per the assistant manager andmsigns.on the bathroom mirror. I spoke with the assistant manager before we left and she stated she would contact expedia and we would get a refund for one night. She contacted expedia and did what she was supposed to do but Expedia has dropped the ball saying a refund has been issued when it has not. The lack of housekeeping issue is why I am leaving the recommendation I am, not the refund issue."

"To start off I would like to say I have stayed at a lot of hotels but the front desk staff at this hotel was so incredibly rude to its guests. The way they talked to people who asked questions was something I had never heard from front desk staff before. The hotel may have been a smoking hotel at one point as the remnants of old smoke remained in the rooms and the lobby area. The front desk staff smoked (as well as other guests) just outside the door which probably didn’t help. At breakfast which was a good spread when item low and someone asked for that item the staff said absolutely not. ( this was in regards to someone asking for a piece of cheese). Another being when the WiFi password didn’t work the front desk answer was well mine is working perfectly fine so I can give you a number to call but there is nothing I can do. It was the manner and the tone in which the hotel staff behaved that was most astonishing. The hotel is older and in need of updates but the rooms were clean. "
