"This place was a great find and affordable! Right off Walking Street and not real loud at night like other places. Card lock to get in so very safe and someone at front desk about 20 hours a day. "I stayed at the Baan Dok Mai a few years ago and thought it was very good to excellent. But I must say it has gone a little downhill. Its location couldn't be more handy but the rooms are showing their age. The photo of a superior room showed reading lamps on either side of the bed but they were gone. The safe was a bit problematic at times. The TV choices were very good and most things worked well. A spoon would have been better than the fork provided with the coffee making facililies. But...
