"Check in was easy. NO problems there. It’s the first motel I’ve been to that actually had a gated entry into the parking lot. You use your door key card to open it. We didn’t think anything of where the room at first when we had to go all the way around the building to park. Half of the parking spots in from of that side of the building in that section were handicapped. Our room was upstairs near the end essentially above and behind the main office. "The Vine Inn is in a great location (right in downtown Davis, easy walk to coffee, food and UCD). They have close, easy parking and quick, friendly check-in and check-out. The room was spacious and clean with comfy beds. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! It was somewhat noisy, but not terrible. My only request would be eco-friendly shampoo / conditioner / body wash instead of the little bottles (which were REALLY hard to squeeze). We like that they have eco-friendly toilets. "
