"The staff is wonderful. The property is sub-par. Not worth the money that I paid for it. The air conditioner is a swamp cooler type. I won’t be back."
"The room and experience were great! Online checkin was a bit of challenge bc Expedia could not relay the messages from the hotel to me. A quick call to the hotel got what I needed. The room was super clean, convenient to what I needed and very cute. Would stay again, but likely would book direct."
"This is an incredibly nice hotel with lots of interesting artifacts on display, an excellent conference room, nice continental breakfast, and very comfortable and spacious rooms.
There are no elevators but there are only 2 floors. This may influence your decision whether to stay here if stairs are a problem for you.
The staff members are articulate, very friendly and helpful. There is a local college at which many of the staff attend when not working at the hotel.
The hotel offers snacks and drinks at reasonable prices and free hot coffee is available at all times.
I would definitely stay here again.
The local area is very pretty but amenities are lacking. The are very limited local restaurant choices and only pizza on Sundays. The pizza shop is actually very good and reasonably priced. I hear that the local Mexican restaurant is also good but closed on Sundays."
"This was the perfect pick for a hometown feel. The property was beautiful inside and out, rooms were clean, the housekeeping staff was excellent and so was the front desk. The restaurant inside the property was an added touch, with fresh homestead breakfast and lunch options that were delicious. The resturant staff was polite and had amazing customer service. The property also has a gift shop that had staples of hometown love. The property was in walking distance of many shops, boutique, coffee shops, brewery , bakery smoke shops and unique gift items, as well as Dave Chappelle's comedy club-store."
"The second floor is in need of washroom overhaul. I have stayed on the first floor before so I know the hotel is good, but the second floor washrooms were gross so now that I know that I might not book on expedia again so that I can make a request for the first floor. The best part of this hotel is the pool which is very well maintained and beautiful."
