Ok. Raised voices in foyer ar arrival. Receptionist who checked me in was really nice and effective in processing my arrival. TV a bit small and basic and no function for casting. Novotel Southampton
Only issue was lack of AC…didn’t affect us but summer time could be a problem. Room clean, breakfast great, staff were lovely. Can walk from train station which is a bonus.

Royal Maritime Hotel
The corridors, room and swimming pool / sauna areas were terrible. No warnings that the property was undergoing refurbishment. Guest services were rude invading personal space. Communication was poor. Sauna switched off and wasn't advised it takes 15 minutes to heat up.
