It's in a good central location, with everything within walking distance. Travel tips: Book a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you can. You get too see amazing parts that are not available during self-guided visits. Have dinner/drinks/listen to live music at Kyteler's Inn. It's a 700 year old...
