"Outstanding service from all the staff, they went above and beyond to make our stay special, the food was divine at both dinner and breakfast and the bed nice and soft, cosy lounge area with a fireplace to chill with drinks"

"Room was very small with creaky floors and very noisy overall. Elm balcony room has a shared balcony which wasn’t specified so I had people talking and hanging outside my room and could see inside my room. This is expensive hotel and I would have expected better rooms but given it’s and old building I guess that’s too be expected. Overpriced for what it is. Staff and service were excellent so that was positive. "

"Our stay was great! We had a room with a view of the golf course, our room was clean and freshly renovated. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Staff from reception through to bar staff were all very polite and eager to help when needed. "
