"Quite a quirky property. Our room was large with a comfy bed and plenty of storage. Large modern bathroom. Coffee machine, kettle, iron and hairdryer. The staff are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is at the Wheatsheaf, a short strole across the square. On the ground floor of the hotel is a Thai restaurant, Thai by Ja, serving the most delicious food. I can highly recommend it. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, pubs and the bus station, with buses to take you...

"The stay at the Caledon was exceptional. Pre-arrival information was clear and timely as was info on the morning we were to leave. The breakfast was of high quality ingredients with no stinting on the amount served. The coffee and tea in the room was of excellent quality. The bedroom was large and well lit and we really liked the layout with the two single beds at right angles giving us a little extra bit of personal space. The mattress and bedlinen was of good quality. The room was cleaned...
