"The highlight of the hotel is the wonderful staff. The hotel staff upgraded us to a nicer room at no cost at check in. The hotel lost power one evening and the front desk loaned us a lantern to get up to our room. They were super apologetic about the power outage but it wasn’t their fault. The room was nicely appointed, but dated. Appreciated the L’Occitane shampoo/conditioner and shower gel."

"We were given a room directly above the smoking area and the smoke was leached into the room through the A/C unit and window. They moved us to another room and there was a blood stain on the sheet on one of the beds. We had booked 3 nights but ended up leaving the property early. At checkout, the elevator was broken so we had to move everything via the stairs. We will never book here again."

"Rooms need deep cleaning. Room assigned had obviously had a dog previously in it and was not properly cleaned. During stay room was not vacuumed or wiped down, only “fresh”towels. Air conditioner caked in dirt and grim evident. Bought dollar store shoes to keep feet clean after shower, too bad because staff at check in and breakfast were outstanding."

"King suite was great and quite clean, however the Jacuzzi needed a better scrub. Front desk staff was rude, and also did not tell me that there was a parking fee, until I asked why I was charged. Unfortunately they did not tell me that the spa/pool was closed for renovations until after I booked my reservation, but they did give me the option for a free cancelation because of it, as well as this was reflected in the price. Also - FYI you cannot order food to your room. Overall, I had a great...

"We had a one stay in Maple Creek. The staff we very helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and great for a one night stay. The little self-serve breakfast and coffee area was very handy to have available throughout our short stay. I would recommend for people passing through this cute town of Maple Creek."
