"Over the years, we have stayed here twice. Since we last stayed, the rooms have been nicely improved. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room was quite nice and very clean. The room had a coffee maker, microwave, flat screen tv and a very nice fridge with a freezer section. The breakfast met our needs with fresh fruit, yogurt, and coffee. There was also a decent cheese, sausage biscuit and pancakes available. Walmart and McDonalds are within easy walking distance. Initially the ice machine did not work but a really efficient staff member fixed that issue within 45 minutes. We were well satisfied with our stay and will use this facility again."

"Very nice hotel and staff. Safe, walkable area and good restaurant across the street for dinner. Had a small gym with some weights and treadmills that was good for light workout. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Unfortunately breakfast was a bust. The juice machine was broken and the waffle maker was on the fritz. The staff was aware and trying to get them fixed."

"If you prefer a quirky, eclectic experience to boring, beige hotel rooms, you will love this place! The property is decorated and designed to ensure a relaxing, yet fun visit. We stayed in the Aqua room which has a mineral soaking bath right in the room. But each bath is private and clean and charmingly adorned. The staff is friendly, the price is right and it is walking distance to downtown shops. Highly recommend Pelican Spa!"
