I enjoyed my stay here however there were many disappointments as well. The room wasn’t great. There was mould on the walls in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken. On 2 days out of 3 there was no hot water in the mornings. The TV didn’t work on my 2nd & 3rd day. The patio door was stuck and wouldn’t open or lock properly. The owners weren’t very friendly. After reading the reviews on Google l was expecting a friendly environment. I didn’t get this. The restaurant was good however it was closed on my first night. There should be information about this at the time of booking the hotel. The food was good however l was overcharged the first evening for my steak €20 which was meant to €18 and include salad and chips. I was then charged an extra €10 for 2 side orders as well. The pizza wasn’t great either it had a very wet base. Disappointing. The next night l was offered potato croquettes as a goodwill gesture l guess however when l paid the bill the lady tried to charge me for them. The cleaning lady was great and the room was spotless.
