However , th kids pool was very dirty. The top layer of tile ALL AROUND the entire kids pool was caked/encrusted with black scum. It was really concerning, although the water itself seemed OK.
Breakfast ended really early. Who wakes up on vacation at 8-8:30 to get breakfast? Should be open til 10 AM- at least 9:30.
Ceiling tiles in my room were stained which is a turn off. But rest of room seemed clean and nice.
Staff weren’t very friendly. Totally unapologetic about the breakfast being closed. Vending machines ate my money twice and just a got a lame excuse of ‘we don’t manage those’. If you can support them, then don’t have them. There is a reasonable expectation that if you put money in the vending it will give you the product and the hotel will handle it. Low rent…
That said, My son loved the pool and it was convenient to mall of America But I wouldn’t go back unless I could confirm the pool was cleanes properly.
5 start tip. When you walk in with an 11 year old you could also ask if they want poolside room and offer it. Those rooms were available at least a few. Not required but that is what a 5 star would do for customer service"
