Amazing

Fantastic room and service, well presented and adapted to the government’s pandemic guidelines. Jessica was incredibly welcoming and clearly loves her work. We just wish we’d stayed longer.

Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware, this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . Other than that the hotel is still somewhere we would happily recommend for position, comfort and the amazing staff

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Apex Dundee, our room was really comfortable and spacious with a fabulous view across to the Tay Bridge and V&A. We ate in the restaurant and bar and everything was fresh and tasty. Looking forward to coming back!

We were checked in on arrival by a friendly receptionist who was professional and helpful. The hotel was spacious with an amazing view of the golf course. The food in the restaurant was very nice. Congratulations to all the staff who worked hard to make our 2 night stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Nice clean hotel, breakfast was very nice. Great location for the city centre.

Stunning castle, with all the services (swimming pool, gym, soft play) included! Plus you can go on horse riding, excluded for the services but worth a visit. kids loved it and for grown up so peaceful.

All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was big and very comfortable. The spa facilities were good but even though it wasn't busy we didn't manage to get to relax in the hot tub as it is very popular. We were disappointed about that. Breakfast was generous and great quality.

Where to start.. Upon arrival we were met with a big smile and our room was ready, and a lovely one at the front of the building which is part of the original coaching house, 4hrs later I had a freak accident on some steps (totally my fault not looking where I was going) I spent the next 4 nights in hospital with 2 broken ankles but these guy's couldn't do more. In-between picking my daughter up and bringing her back to the hospital with supplies and keeping in touch they then allocated a...

The stay itself was brilliant, the room was super clean and tidy, bed was really comfortable too! Bathroom was great and had everything we needed. Only a couple of picky things, the tv wasn’t very good and didn’t have many channels but it wasn’t much of a problem for us, the restaurant wasn’t great, the fish was slightly overcooked and the steak pie was over done. The price of the food and drink wasn't really good value for money but there are many other options around. The service was great...

Check-in was slow and uninformative but every other aspect of our stay was fantastic

Excelllent stay from check in to check out.Service first class from all the staff and room cleanliness. Parking is across from hotel with CCTV

An excellent hotel with character, class, and great service. I can understand why The Balmoral Hotel is such a famous place to stay when visiting Edinburgh.

Loved our stay here. Apartment was incredible, we could stay in it all day! Our favourite location in Edinburgh for bars restaurants etc. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to return.

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

Loved this hotel, decor lovely, bed so comfy. Food really good.
