"The room was very clean but the carpets had large dark stains and the bedding was fairly tattered. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was expecting a beautiful garden and entrance from the description on your website- it was nice but not kept and all the plants were overgrown. A lot of trash. Could’ve been from the adjacent construction zone too. Best place to stay in downtown St. Paul."

"The outside property of the hotel was clean and there was enough parking spaces. As for inside, I did notice there were a couple stains or dents on the walls. Also, early morning I did happen to find a small cockroach in the bathroom. Not sure where it came from, but possibly from the main door to the room. The space from the floor to the bottom of the door was about a half inch gap, so you could hear people in the halls and sometimes people in the other rooms nearby. Breakfast was nice and fresh, the attendant was there the whole time and refilled food when needed. However, the area to eat was quite small and tight to move around if most or all the seats were full. Lastly, the staff from morning to night was very respectful and very nice to all who came in and out."

"Our experience was amazing! The staff accommodated our early check-in since we arrived early, and they also allowed us a late check-out because they understood that we work night shifts. Little things like this make customers feel valued and appreciated. For the price, having free breakfast included is definitely a great deal! We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hospitality. We would definitely recommend this place!"
