"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost.
The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! We will be returning again in the future."

We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped.

Good clean spacious rooms. -Well placed for quick 10 min walk to Instow where we had fresh fish/ mussels on 2 nights. Honestly a generous couple who cater for absolutely everything. Good nights sleep as quiet with scenic views. best cup of tea I’ve ever had - I think it’s the Devon water can’t believe it...

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception.
There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there.
