The Prince
Interesting art deco building close to the beach. Large room with a balcony. No noise from the bar even on Saturday night and only a little from the road. Good value. Pleasant breakfast on Sunday morning

Saint Kilda Beach Hotel (formerly Rydges St Kilda)
Once we turned the air-conditioning on we couldn't turn it off, adjust the fan setting we had to keep turning the temp up. The tv remote was dodgy, when you changed the chanel or volume it would turn the tv off. One of the bathroom doors would close properly and the toilet needed repeated flushes ...
