"We stayed on the 9th and again on the 13th for two separate nights. The first nights room was on the ground floor and suited us perfectly. The second nights room was on the third floor up quite a lot of stairs and along many corridors. We were asked if we wanted help with the luggage, thank you. Although the rooms contained the same elements, it felt smaller as it was in the roof space. It felt hot but a fan was provided. The staff are all lovely, welcoming and helpful and we will continue to return when visiting Guernsey. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices. There is parking if needed. Would always recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is very child-friendly, clean, and in a great location with beautiful sea views. The staff were responsive to queries via Hotels.com, and the receptionist was very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. The only downside was a planned road closure on the main road, which meant buses could not reach the hotel and the nearest stop was around a 20-minute walk away. We had to walk about 25 minutes from the bus stop before the diversion, so it would have been helpful to know about this in advance to arrange transport. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel to families!"

"My room was comfortable and spacious. I was on the third floor, with access only by the stairs, so I wouldn’t recommend for someone less able. The restaurant was exceptionally good, and I enjoyed a fantastic evening meal, as well as a really good breakfast."

We were happy to receive an upgraded room on this occasion. Everything was super clean. Gorgeous bed linen and the comfiest pillows. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the carvery on Sunday was one of the nicest we’ve had"

"An all round excellent hotel, Lovely position, staff, room, food and amenities. Ample parking but the bus stop is outside the hotel providing a cheap and regular service to St, Peter Port (leave your car in the car park as the buses go almost everywhere on the island!). Good views and plenty of walks. Very helpful when our ferry was cancelled in finding us alternate accommodation when this hotel was full.. The food is good but the cakes are exceptional! A lovely hotel which we hope to return to."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The hotel is attractively set in large grounds. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had a small balcony. Every single member of staff we met was welcoming. They went out of their way to engage with us and help -this included the reception, bar & dining and housekeeping staff. The breakfast area was calm and well managed with a good range of options. We chose to take our evening meals in the Terrace Bar. There was a large range of options to choose from and the staff were very helpful - especially Amy who served us very professionally most nights."
