"Arrived well before check in time, but had no problem with parking my car in their car park (register ant reception). And my room was ready. Really helpful and friendly staff, lovely cooked breakfast, various options. Also had meal in the pub on the first night, lovely. Room fine. Well done all round."

"We stayed for 1 night at this gem of a place! We arrived quite late but managed to get into the restaurant just before they finished serving. The food was outstanding! Not an extensive menu. A few pub classics such as fish and chips. I had an open fish pie which was delicious. We had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good. We did say it was a shame we didnt live nearer as we'd definitely return for a meal. The rooms were recently modernised we were told and were lovely! A good...

"As a solo female business traveller, I really appreciate when staff go out of their way, particularly in a busy restaurant. I felt totally comfortable at The Guinness Arms. The room was lovely, a little compact ( I enjoyed hearing the owl at night!) and had great facilities with a coffee machine but no kettle. Breakfast was a real highlight. EV charger worked and set me up with a full battery for the next day. "
