"Th hotel is located 5 minutes from the train station—though that isn't exactly "close." On the positive side, the decor is minimalist; however, the staff seemed disorganized. (The in-room safe wasn't working, and we received five different explanations until we finally got the definitive verdict from a more honest employee, who admitted that the safe in that specific room was broken.) The room itself was clean, featuring a good-sized bathroom and a kitchenette. My biggest issue is that the room suffered from a lack of maintenance. Since the hotel is relatively new, this isn't a major problem *yet*—but the issues were numerous: an inoperable safe, closet doors off their tracks, a disconnected cooktop, a TV that wouldn't turn on because its power cable was unplugged at the back, and a used sponge left in the sink. Preventive maintenance is definitely not "up to date." They suggested moving us to a different room, but we didn't feel the need, as we were leaving in the morning and only returning at night to sleep. I don't usually write reviews containing destructive criticism—I work in the hospitality industry myself—but I decided to write this one because these are problems that could be solved very quickly, easily, and at practically no cost. All that's needed is a little more attention from whoever supervises room turnover, along with better coordination among the staff members. A definite highlight was the airport shuttle—a perfect 10! "Friendly, helpful staff. Unlimited free coffee in the lounge. Easy access for train at Diegem station in to Brussels Central Station. Carrefour market a couple of minutes walk away. Quiet. We arrived in the morning and were able to park our car in the hotel car park all day at no extra cost (20 euros standard fee charged). We enjoyed a day in Brussels and then returned to the hotel in the evening to check in."

"The room was dirty, the hallways were dirty, the staff was not interested at all to provide a pleasant customer experience. A stunning example is that staff took the elevator before us to transport dirty dishes. The breakfast was extremely messy with empty coffee machines, broken juice machines, empty yoghurt, other products. We had to find our own cuttlery and the staff was generally completely overwhelmed. For nearly 500 euro’s per night the quality was far, far from what is to be expected at those prices. The spa looked good but it was so crowded we decided not to go. The gym is equiped very well but the machines were, surprise- dirty. Really a shame because the venue is fantastic, but clearly very poorly managed"

"Overall, the hotel is decent. The main issue is that it’s quite a long walk to the nearest railway station. Also, many trains that pass through this station don’t actually stop there. In my case, the train that was supposed to run once an hour simply didn’t show up. The facilities are generally in line with a three-star hotel, but the shower had very low water pressure, and the water was barely warm. The key card for the door kept not working, so I constantly had to go to the staff to have it replaced. This wasn’t just my issue — other guests experienced the same problem."

"Hotel is about 3 - 4 miles from airport. Room size was adequate. The biggest letdown was the state of the cleanliness, the washbasin was not clean. The shower cubicle was not clean and had hair on the floor. The worst bit was finding a pin on the floor of the toilet and the commode had not been cleaned after use. There was faeces in the commode. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were clean"
