"The property was very unique in its style. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map and information about places to eat. There was a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee which was a bonus. The only thing that I would criticise is the pillows. The pillow was extremely hard and I had to replace it with the towels because I could not sleep."

"It was a cute place. They apparently have breakfast but couldn't find it in the morning. It may be at the residence next door. When you arrive, there is a bell by the outside gate to push and the owner will come over. I booked a room with 2 beds as it was me and my teenage daughter. the owner said we could only sleep on the one unless we paid an additional $10 EU."

"This property is extremely phenomenal. It’s built in the 1700s and has been well maintained. The area is 9 minutes from the walled city of Lucca. A taxi will cost you 15 euros there but if you’re up for an excursion the hotel rents bike for 30 euros a day. My wife and I enjoyed our stay because the host and their family are extremely lovely."

"The hotel is in the centre of Luca and within walking distance of anything you could want within the walled city. I felt safe as a solo female traveller and was comforted by the rooms' security. Breakfast room was a little tight for the number of guests staying and air con did not really operate that well in reception area and breakfast room.
