"I don't know where to start, but this was an amazing stay from arrival to departure. The suite was in a great location, the entire suite was amazing from the comfort, to the view, and the host. The suite was equipped with everything we needed, and very roomy. We watched the seals on the beach, and enjoyed watching the sunset. It was so peaceful, and spotless. Since the sun didn't set until around midnight, the curtains and sliding ceiling cover gave us darkness to sleep. The bed was the most comfortable of our two week visit to Iceland. We were in communication with the host after we departed because I left my tripod behind accidentally. We came back a day later to retrieve the tripod and had a great visit with the host. They are wonderful people, and care about their guests. No doubt when we return to Iceland for our third trip, we will stay there again."

"The building was an old school they bought and turned into a hotel. Nicely Done! The lounge/bar is the old auditorium. Big room with plenty of seating and a beautiful old chess board and chairs combo. There is a restuarant serving dinner and drinks. The food was quite good! Waitresses Daria & Daniella were very kind and friendly. Morning breakfast buffet was also good. Nice selection. Met the owners Asgeir & his wife after dinner one evening, very pleasant couple, good conversations. The rooms were good, work desk & chair, seating area. My bed wasn't the most comfortable, for me, very soft mattress but pillows were good. Shower very good. No refrigerator in the room but they did offer to store my food in the kitchen fridge. It was cold enough outside to hang food out the window or leave in the car. 2 Large Outdoor Hot Tubs. Stayed here for 2 nights and got to see the area. I would absolutely stay here again. "We booked 2 rooms by mistake, that's on me. I did not check both of them, but the one we did use was very underwhelming. The house itself is ok, if a bit sterile. But it hadn't been cleaned properly as the floor was dirty, the shower has soap residues and there was a good amount of dust everywhere. Everything felt cheap, like they bough all of it used and didn't even try to make it look good. It really wasn't a big deal, but with other options available I do not recommend this rental."
