"We really enjoyed The Royal George Birdlip. Beds were comfortable and the food was delicious from the restaurant. Also, great location within short driving distance to the Cotswolds and many other local attractions."

"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"We had a wonderful one-night stay. We had a double room with ensuite, which perfectly suited our family of three. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and were great with our young daughter. There is plenty of parking and the pub itself is gorgeous and full of character. The breakfast was incredible - had the Full English, which was so tasty, and there were lots of continental and lighter options too. It’s an absolute gem of a place, and one we’ll definitely return to."

"Firstly, it was lovely to stay in an independently owned hotel where the staff clearly have great pride in their hotel and ensuring that guests are happy with their stay. "The Bell is a beautiful old building and our room was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The view from the room was amazing. Access was through a separate door to the pub, so we didn't have to be back before the pub closed and could access the room any time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakasts were delicious and lots of choice on the menu. Lovely pub dog too! We would definitely stay here again."

"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Therefore, in this heatwave, the room was an oven. There was a desk fan - 'thank goodness'.
