"Staff were amazing,extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Food was good, Great breakfast and good choice in restaurant if you are eating there in the evening. Only slight problem was poor phone signal and hotel WiFi only worked in the car park."

"Very pleasant period hotel in a lovely location, ideally situated for exploring sites along Hadrian's Wall by car. For me, the only real downside was the coffee machine at breakfast had a limited range of choices (no americano!) and it 'gave up the ghost' completely on our last day without a replacement ..."
