"Hotel was very clean,staff very helpful. Breakfast was ok but the quality of cooked food could have been better. We went for a wedding which was lovely. We didn't use the spa or pool as only there for one night. It was the hottest day of the year and in the parts that were air conditioned it was ok but the actual wedding was outside in the garden and there was no shade for the quests we were all melting and got sun burnt so would advise if its the reason for your visit take hats or umbrella. "Not well kept. Poor signage. No help with luggage. Toilet was so low as a handicapped individual I had to use the shower to urinate and public washroom for the deed. Switched rooms three times. Then stuffed in a room at the very back of hotel. Would definitely not recommend to anyone."

"Historic character inn with rooms right in the centre of town. Parking is available in nearby municipal pay and display car parks - but do check with the hotel beforehand for details of which to park in as the closest is a short stay with a maximum stay of only 4 hours. There is a separate long stay car park within walking distance. Bedrooms have been stylishly brought up to twenty first century standards. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended."

"Parked right outside entrance in semi private parking, very easy registration, room spacious,clean, blackout curtains, and bathroom with wonderful big tub!!! Great Bombay Saturday dinner selection - what a lovely extra surprise. Lovely, attentive and efficient staff, every one, from chefs to reception. Peaceful landscaped grounds for refreshing wander after long drive. Superb value breakfast. Highly recommend."

"Room cleaned but had very old smell. Construction sound outside (they can't help it but just be aware) I plugged in my laptop and it blew the fuse in the room. Parking is pricy as is the restaurant but still nice to have. Staff, fantastic - no notes."

Beautiful, comfortable and clean room with great additions like coffee machine, tasty cookies, fan and lovely toiletries. Our only complaint was that breakfast was a bit slapdash with items like bread & orange juice having run out, wrong drinks brought out and a long wait for food."
