"The location is excellent, right in the heart of downtown, though parking can be difficult. The area gets very busy with tourists arriving for boat tours, rafting, and kayaking. At the town entrance, there was a man who appeared to be directing traffic, but he was actually filtering people to sell tours. When we tried to check into our hotel, he was quite aggressive and verbally abusive. Once he realized we were hotel guests, he allowed us to park, as it seems he works for the hotel....

"We stayed here for one night before our flight the next morning. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, even their young son. The apartment was spotless and spacious with a good shower. We ate there in the evening and the food was fabulous. Homemade while you wait and delicious. We arranged a taxi for the morning which was no problem at all. We found our whole experience here a pleasure."

Only one restaurant is open in September and the water taxi ends at 6p. We weren’t aware that many of the hotels perks were limited in September which is part of what we thought we were paying for. Very expensive for what it was."
