"The lady at the front desk was wonderful. Very kind and helpful. The room, however, had several strands of long brown hair (I have 1 inch long brown hair lol) and was generally unclean. Breakfast the next day was not out anywhere near the 6.a.m time (I was there at 6:30), and the lady who I assumed was responsible for breakfast that morning was passed out on the couch in the lobby. "

"We had a really disappointing experience with Powhatan Motel. After driving 16 hours on a long road trip, we arrived around 3am expecting to check in, since the motel clearly advertises a 24-hour front desk and check-in availability after 4pm. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was no one available at the front desk, no way to check in, and no communication whatsoever from the property. We were completely exhausted and left stranded in the middle of the night with a valid...

"The town and the inn were beautiful! We had dinner at the tavern connected to the inn. Then we walked to The Creamery (delicious). The room was very nicely done and had little extras (popcorn and candy from a local business). The whole place seemed like a Hallmark movie inn. Definitely stay there again!"

"Rooms are spacious and very clean. Property are so well kept. We didn’t partake in the breakfast (through I fault of the hotel we had to leave), but it’s so nice it’s offered!! Staff was polite and informative! "

"Breakfast was supposed to be from 7-10 At 8 am there was one sausage left a half cup of coffee and cold cereal We did find a very nice restaurant for breakfast just 3 minutes away "

"Pool broken and closed down. Room smelt like a whole pack of cigarettes had just been smoked in the room 5 minutes before we checked into the room. Whirlpool in the room was filthy. Bedding is paper thin and the two pillows they have on the bed are flat as can be. "

"The desk server was on his phone in the parking lot and no where to be found. There was $hit smeared all over the public restroom in the lobby and when we asked if there was another restroom the kids could use and explained the situation the girl at the desk simply said NO thats thebonlynone we have and showed no concern for the cleanliness/ public health hazard of their hotel"

"Our couch was broken, pull out bed would barely come out and couldn't get it to go back in. Pool wasn't open and honestly thought it was an indoor pool from the description. The elevator was very scetchy as well. Was not impressed for the money I spent. "
