"Two nights reservation, it was great first time, collected the keys from the entry box, parking right by, peaceful environment, and direct view of the Neuschwanstein Castle!!"
"Not very quiet...could hear guests in other rooms and in the halls. Toilet down the hall. No privacy with shower in corner of room. Cleaning service did not knock, but just tried to open the door 45 minutes before check-out. "
"The truble with this hotels is that they hire people with horrible customer service. I have 3 months straight working and traveling in Germany and this is the first hotel that I found with very unpleasant conversation and the result is was that i was worried and unsafe for the stay. "Oberstdorf is a beautiful hiking paradise with plenty of Hotels. Hence there is no need to stay in the sub-par Fuggerhof where you are put into a basement room while the unfriendly front desk staff tries to up-sell you into an above ground room - as if that were a special feature. Just to be clear - there was no mention of below ground rooms during booking and the basement room wasn't a walkout basement but did have a small window at the top of the wall, eye-level with the grass roots of the ill...
