"Pros; check-in easy, parking easy, beds fine, clean linens, helpful staff Cons; shower way too low, very dated room, smoking allowed on balconies which chased us into our room (room smelled of smoke), AC behind curtain that couldn't be pushed aside due to bracket, patio door didn't lock, when trying to sleep there was an odd and annoying clicking sound but couldn't find the source, when we were able to sit on the balcony it was a lovely view but extremely noisy because of highway."

"We stayed at the property for 2 nights. On the second days we were told there would be a change made to the lock on our door. It took about 4 hours during the day to make the change, forcing us to leave the property during that time. We were compensated by 10% of our total amount. The work should be done when the property is not occupied."

"Staff helped us get checked into our room early, the room was clean and neat, and with the doors closed it was very quiet, even right next to a busy road! Right near a bunch of restaurants, and the downstairs “Joe’s” is also great! Fantastic ocean view! Make sure if you want privacy you check on your door sign, as it’s windy and they tend to blow off the handles easily. Finding a better system for those would be my only suggestion for improvement. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay!"

"The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. The lady on check in was very friendly and helpful. The rabbits grazing in the grounds were fun to watch. The Rickys Grill next door was very handy but we also managed to self cater one night using the fridge and microwave."

"I did not stay the night there, I felt usafe. There was a stale/odd smell in the room and the room felt very accessible to the public, being on the ground floor (alone at night) with 2-3access points off the street at a major intersection in a what feels like an unsafe part of town. I walked to work after checking in and not 12-15mins away a body had been recovered in a nearby creek. Would like a refund. I didn't see any women staying there."

"The restaurant (with views of the ocean) and the spa were excellent. We had an outstanding meal and a relaxing couples massage. The room was nice but average. The check-in was welcoming and helpful. The location is central to many activities."

"We had a lovely king sea view room with a balcony overlooking the most stunning and quite mesmerising views. The bed was really comfortable and spacious unlike the bathroom which was tiny! The staff were friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, again with that view! Breakfast menu was disappointing so we skipped that. The small pool was well kept and we welcomed a refreshing swim after our journey."

As I was checking in there was another reservation that could not be honoured due to the guests not having any of the proper credentials to check in. The front desk staff was beyond professional even though they were dealing with extremely upset ppl. They maintained empathy and professionalism 100% and I feel they need this review as I assume there will be something negative coming their way! I do feel bad for the guests that left angry but they...
