"There was no employee at front desk when we tried to check in. I had to call the hotel to have the employee come to the front desk. Once he arrived, he was very friendly and professional. The room met our needs for a one night stay and was affordable"

"We stayed the day before our spring break 2026 cruise. I wish i had done a little bit more research before staying here, as the location has so much more to offer than i had even realized until it was to late. The property is beautiful, overlooking the beach (the balcony upgrade was definitely worth the small upcharge, sunrise was spectacular). There is an excellent and very popular local pizza place next door (Papa's Pizza) as well as a ben snd Jerrys for ice cream with our kids. Additionally which i didnt know intil that evening when i walked down the block to get a case of sodas, you can also rent golf carts (2,4,6, or even 8 seaters) by the hour day or week, at very reasonable prices). Also the historic Galveston pier boardwalk is just a couple blocks up (which my kids would have loved). There is an ER next door but it was quite and didn't cause issues with sleep. Breakfast was spectacular with so many options from healthy to comfort food, including eggs, bacon sausage, pancakes, waffles, egg whites, wraps, oats, yogurt, omlets, and cereal. Great gym and excellent staff. Would highly recommend staying here "

"It’s hard to properly rate a place that is under renovation while you’re staying there I’m sure that they did the best they could, but it did not reflect that when I made my reservations."

"At first I was worried I wasn't' going to get the beach view. Because their were properties on both sides of the highway. As I checked in they told me our stay was on the other side beach front. They gave us a choice of which floor we wanted. Unfortunately they told us the elevator did not go up all the way to our floor and we would have to take the stairs one flight. That was not a deal breaker. Our room was absolutely amazing, the pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean, the view was amazing of the beach, sunsets and sunrises. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Just make sure you request a signature room to get the best room and views."

"First they charge 15.00 a day for parking which you are never told about untill you see it on your final invoice. The key card didn't work on the door so it had to be changed out that took 30mins. The biscuits at the breakfast were rock hard . The beds were comfortable The room balcony was nice "
