"We were looking for something last minute after an 11hour drive. The hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The pictures looked ok, but in reality this place is so much nicer. Really beautifully designed interior whilst respecting the heritage of the building, excellent bar, very friendly staff. All of this right on the doorstep of a national park with a lake to swim in. "This hotel turns out to be a Time Share type property. The time share owners have access to swimming pool and surrounds however Hotel Guests don’t have acces Many families use the Hotel. As a guest we couldn’t be accommodated at the restaurant one night. Great location but a bit far from public transport so need good walking shoes. 25 min walk to harbour and other restaurants."
