Lovely hotel. Rooms spotlessly clean. Bed was a great size and really comfy. Great to be able to use the pool and gym facilities for only £5 extra. The guy who was on reception when we visited...I think his name was Stallin.. was amazing. So helpful and friendly. Explained everything to us we needed to know. Such a lovely guy...a credit to the hotel

Nice independent run hotel at about the level of a Holiday Inn. Rooms are an adequate size for two to share. Some of the exterior is it showing its age around the back facing on to the sports facilities which are apparently not maintained to a level to currently in use. Restaurant evening menu and bar have a wide selection of options, and the morning breakfast buffet has a good wide selection. There is also a range of good restaurants and pubs within a short distance if you don't want to use the on-site offering. Would I stay again? Yes.

Over night stay, had to wait a while for reception as didnt realise I had to use the phone to get a reception member. The room card had to be reset but the receptionist was very helpful. Once in room it was very clean and spacious. No issues. Bed very comfortable and warm. I ate in the restaurant, wasnt many guests. Food was ok. I finished and no staff around so I left to go to room. I settled down in bed but then the phone rang and it was the restaurant saying I hadn't paid. I said to just add to my bill and I'd pay on check out in morning. They said they didnt do that and I needed to go back to pay. Was a little annoying as had to get dressed again to go back to pay which could of been sorted out at reception.
