"A most wonderful hotel from the cleanliness of all areas to the decor . Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and attentive. Soft towels were very welcome as was the very comfortable bed. The receptionists were the best I’ve come across on all my stays in Ireland and abroad . Full marks for a super hotel"

"Our Kilkea Castel stay was amazing. It was quite beautiful clean and very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Also the activities room was great and the staff was very helpful there as well. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the smoking in the patio area while me and my children were sitting outside although I'm not sure non smoking areas are a thing in Ireland. Also we came on the hottest week of the year and there wasn't air conditioning or enough fans as well as screens on the doors or windows so we can open when them and let air in due to the bugs flying in the room."
