"What a magical little place this is! Absolutely loved the cabin and all the unique decor and trinkets and the location is breathtaking…so peaceful. The couples hot tub was perfect and nice to relax in after coming back from lovely walks. Well done to the owners of the Sweet Donside Cabins. We’d love to come back."

"Mo who runs the hotel was very helpful as i had to arrive early as I was going to a wedding before check in time she sorted access to my room as i would be later back. Fiona in the bar was very nice and we had pleasant chat which brought nice end to a great day"

"Extremely friendly service. There is not an elevator so they will carry your luggage to your room and back down. There are no strangers at Balmoral Arms, you're treated as a very good friend. Main sitting room with a piano that even though it's out of tune --- they've tried to have it repaired several times --- people still gather and enjoy the sitting room. "Nice hotel. If you want a tv you need to have a room on the second floor but who needs a tv nowadays when there is WiFi. Very comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom."

"Sehr sauberes und großzügiges Zimmer. Wir sind mit Hund verreist, ist garkein Problem gewesen. Sehr freundliches und Hilfbereites Personal. Frühstück hatten wir erst nicht geplant, allerdings bot man uns mit Hund an einen separaten Tisch in der Lounge frühstücken konnten. "Stayed in the Kennel room at this beautiful old hunting lodge. Attentive staff. Enjoyed an excellent dinner and walked the grounds. Funky charm in the very best sense. Wished to stay longer!"
