"Beautiful place set by lake outside the town of Puumala. It was a very peaceful and serene setting, a great place to go to get away from busy cities.
I would say that the staff were friendly rather than warm and helpful."

"The hotel is a bit dated, but very nice, well-maintained, and clean. The staff was very friendly, and the sauna is included. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room and is delicious and varied. The location is lovely, right on the lake and the promenade."
