"There was a critical snag in our visit. Expedia confirmed the reservation but the proprietor was overbooked and said he did not have a room for us.
That was a serious problem because every room in town was booked. We drove 4,5 hrs to home because there was no place to stay."

"I had to make a last-minute booking for work and stayed here. I met the owner—his name was Mony (pronounced Moony, I believe). I was late checking in, but he took great care of me. He gave me a tour of the property and let me sit and chat in the bar as he was closing.
This bar/hotel is very, very cool. I can’t recommend it enough for people passing through on road trips or bike trips. They have live music regularly and a beautiful patio out back. I will absolutely make a point to come back here on a road trip with my friends and stay the night.
