"Great breakfast"

"Great hotel but NO parking which has to be said is a big minus point. I parked at Riverside Parking on recommendation of hotel but you have to pay using Ringo App but as far as I could see you cannot pay for 24 hours as your parking slot ends at 23.59 on the day. How you pay for more ‘god only knows?’ Not user friendly. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Rooms were good although aircon seemed to go off around 10pm? Definitely got warmer then."

"A long way to to my room and steps involved which could have been pointed out when I registered. Difficult to locate my room even with the help of two other guests. Breakfast was disappointing considering the price. Poor choice if not eating meat. Cereal choice poor. Cheese tasteless."

"Nice sized room but a long walk from reception up and down stairs. Bathroom showing obvious signs of age. Staff were all lovely and health club fun. Overall we had a good stay and will return."

"Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel."

"Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling."

"Staff were wonderful, breakfast was great, bar food was expensive and not great quality, so would avoid eating there in the evenings. Location is great for Beamish and Durham."
