"The hotel is in bad state. The room windows looked unto a metal fence with people walking by (what would it take to landscape it?). The pool deck was in pretty bad shape and in parts covered up with plastic turf. What is offered does not match the fee charged"

"The Sur Plaza hotel is a decent place to stay in Sur, Oman. It is easy to find when you drive into town. The restaurant has good food for breakfast and dinner. The staff was friendly. "

"This hotel is a bit of out the way from downtown Sur. The price is right but the beds were uncomfortable, the bathrooms were extremely basic and the main room included plastic deck chairs as part of its furniture complement. Even though this hotel states that it accepts payment by credit card, the reception workers complained and did everything they could to dissuade me from using one which kind of put a bad taste in my mouth."
