  • Khao Sok National Park was dedicated in December 1980, and shortly thereafter dammed in 1982 creating the largest freshwater lake in Thailand, known as Cheow Larn Lake. The area was ultimately saved due to a pandemic that wiped out the local population, giving it the name “Khao Sop” - Corpse Mountain. It then witnessed guerrilla warfare, providing an ideal location for natural protection, which ultimately discouraged logging and hunting industries from taking form. We stayed for one night before our trip to Khao Sok National park. It’s in a really convenient location. We stayed in a pool access room which was lovely and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again! We went to a lovely restaurant down the road called Wang aww and the food was very good!

Beautiful hotel a short distance from Cheow Lan Lake. We were not here long so did not venture far, however there were places within walking for some shopping and dining. Food was amazing at the property.

Nice rooms with a great view over the surrounding nature. The staff was very helpful und friendly. Our group booked a boat tour in the national park recommanded by the hotel which was also awesome.

The views from the rooms are amazing. The restaurant is pretty decent and they have live music every night which is a nice touch. Around the resort. There isn't a ton of other things going on, so you're going to be pretty much tied to the actual resort.

Perfect almost at Alpine feel

Great overnight oasis in alpine surroundings. Excellent evening meal Nice pool room Only real criticism is shower floor ( and overall bathroom tiles) are very slippery when wet so take care!

Very nice hotel,located in a nice area with beautiful view. We took a family room with pool access in it was huge and comfortable. The pool is lovely and staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant located in the hotel is tasty and not expensive. The breakfast needs an improvement, not so much versatile.

Beautiful property for quick access to Khao Sok lake. The property is secluded and restaurant service was very slow our first night, but the second night (hotel was busier and I believe management/owners were onsite at the restaurant) made up for it with a lovely environment and more attentive staff. The Wi-Fi was spotty, which is expected considering the area. The mattress was in the firm side but not unbearable. Overall would recommend if wanting to stay close to to the dam.

It was a beautifull property. At the main pool and the private pool the walls had cracks and the tiles were loose. But overall the accomodation looked really good. We had a lot of ants in our first room but they immediately offered a different room, without extra charge, so they could fix the problem. Service was great, really friendly staff. They had a little golfkart to drive you and your luggage to the room. The 'western' food wasn't that good.

Fantastic Stay With Great Amenities

Amazing hotel with a large property, breathtaking views, and very friendly staff. I don’t think I’ve ever been at a Thai hotel with as many workers, in a good way! They are always cleaning, maintaining the grounds, or helping guests. This is a great homebase for the area, especially for families, as the restaurant has live music and serves some very delicious food for a reasonable price. They also have everything you need here, from cigarettes and weed to room service, multiple pools, billiards etc. Can’t say enough good things about staff and level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Room is stocked with a mini bar, very good AC, large shower, and coffee/teas Would 100% stay again! Only thing is the beds are hard by Thai standards.
