LUX* Le Morne

"We stayed here for our honeymoon and had such an amazing experience at LUX Le Morne. We loved the surprise gifts on arrival in our room and then followed by champagne and light nibbles. I especially loved that they had made a little schedule of events for us to do during our stay as well. The best part was hearing that there were free beach activities, we enjoyed doing the glass bottom boat tour, stand up padel boarding and snorkelling for free during our stay. We got breakfast only and loved the selection available every morning, I always looked forward to coconut water in the morning and the chia pudding! On our last day I loved that there was a bag for wet items left on our bed it was such a thoughtful touch as we had a late flight. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Aniket at the Bar who would make us the most delicious personalised drinks and gave us a cocktail making class! Also Joshua at reception too for being so welcoming. There are many more staff I have to commend for their hospitality, especially Jason as well who gave us our parting gifts as we left for the airport."

"Really enjoyed our stay as the resort was fairly quiet due to winter season. Staff were always helpful and helped us arrange excursions around the island. There are no restaurants within waling distance so with pay for the dinner buffet or be prepared to eat out or bring food back to your room."

"I loved my short stay, the breakfast is a bit messy in terms of service, missing table and silverware and a bit short of staff , But still was happy, you’ll always find someone to serve you Great hotel I loved the shuttle service to the beach too"
Preskil Island Resort

"I always enjoy staying at Preskil but I had a bit of a bad experience on my check in on Monday, 3 August. I arrived at 9h00 at the hotel and i know that check in was only at 14h00. We sat at the check in area the whole day and my room was not ready at 14h00. The communication was not so clear and if i have known it will take over the check in time i could have gone for a scrub at the spa that time. My 1 colleague had a room 2 hours before me and i sat there till 14h30 without knowing it will take that long. Tired and over it by then."

"L'Oiseau de l'Océan was an amazing discovery. It was clean, well-kept and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle was a nice touch ensuring that trips to the beach and Cascavelle were easy. I also enjoyed the on-site sauna. My only complaint is that the wifi was weak and to make calls, I needed to step outside my room. I didn't mind much because I was on vacation and so didn't need to work. Special commendation goes to Jessica and Richard for going above and beyond."

"This is a generally well-maintained hotel with a lovely atmosphere. Although the rooms are a little worn and could use an update, everything else was excellent. The food was delicious in every restaurant we visited, and the wide, beautiful beach with plenty of sun loungers made our stay feel truly relaxing."
