We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. "This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. "

"Lovely atmosphere with private feel yet still very close to beach and park. Breakfast on site was good and many places to eat within walking distance. The nature walk on property feels more 'jungle' then the trails in the park itself. We had two rooms side by side which worked well for our family of four. Pool area is very nice with shaded palapas. Trail at end of parking lot to beach which is flat and off the main road. Highly recommend if you want a smaller, quiet resort within easy walking...

"Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. Don’t think this error in landmarks is the fault of Tico Tico though, but the reason for my 3 stars on...
