"Kitchen was very well-equipped, with a lovely big fridge. Appreciate the laundry machine available. Older place so a bit worn and dusty in places. Very spacious - yet somewhat awkward for just relaxing in. Single beds were not comfortable so we placed tri-fold mattresses on top. Orange duvet covers not a pleasant material to touch. We could not get hot water in the tub so we're not able to enjoy it! Air conditioning was good! Nice neighborhood. Lovely plants and birds just outside!"

"The location is great and very convenient, but unfortunately that’s the only positive. The host never responded to any messages, making communication extremely difficult. The property photos — many items shown are old, broken, or completely unusable. There was no outdoor lighting, and the glasses were dusty and poorly maintained. "We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. We arrived last minute late at night after having trouble with an Airbnb reservation nearby. The staff is so kind, the amenities/breakfast/restaurants are fantastic and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. The beach was so relaxing and to fall asleep hearing the water each night is worth the price alone. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Izu Hantou. We hope to be back soon!"
