"The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on that. The real stand-out was the staff, they are welcoming and clearly enjoy their jobs, and are a perfect example of Welsh hospitality. This is a good hotel as a base to explore Eryri"
"Room and bedroom were lovely, french doors with garden outdoor view , you would not expect that from the front door of your room and the front area , bit shabby and dated, saying that bathroom very dated was clean but could do with modernization.
Pool was my biggest let down, small very busy and again generally little shabby , temp was good , but I didn't stay in for long , on our visit jacuzzi was full of young lads , all friends couldn't get near it . Quite a walk to breakfast from our room/ chalet, so took car ( disabled) breakfast very basic , can't say much more, not memorable.
The area is beautiful, river and scenery, cute shops , obviously expensive, train area good place to visit , enough places to eat and get coffee , we come back regularly so great place.
Carpark is broken up deffo needs attention.

"We stayed in room no.1(small cosy room)the room was small had a nice comfy bed nice ensiute spotless clean, Dave was very helpful at breakfast with ideas of were to visit, the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. This guest house is in a superb location right in the centre of betws-y-coed, car park at the rear was a bit small but okay. If we visit this area again i wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "
"After a nice welcome, we were able to really enjoy our stay last weekend. It’s set back from the busy roads and pubs so we could enjoy complete peace. Good breakfast and very accommodating. The room was clean and there’s great access to the town and many beautiful walks. We will definitely be staying again!"
