A fabulous 5 star hotel but service challenges over the Jordan weekend (Friday & Saturday) when the local population descends on the Dead Sea resorts. This is a large property, spread over several levels and so quite a bit of walking or use of the hotel’s golf carts. The restaurants are excellent and the staff are very friendly. There are several pool options, all of which are worth trying out.

We had an amazing stay at the Kempinski Ishtar. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, and the concierge was especially friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was great entertainment in the evenings that made the nights even better. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt well taken care of. Overall, it was well worth it and we’d be happy to return.

Our stay at the Kempinski Dead Sea was truly wonderful, and while the property is beautiful and luxurious, it was the amazing staff that made the experience exceptional. Every team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their genuine hospitality and thoughtful service truly set this hotel apart.
