"The Inn's greatest asset is its location, close to Amherst College and downtown. If you are visiting the college, it is the closest and nicest hotel accommodation. You can park your car and walk everywhere. For the price paid, one would think that the inn would pay far more attention to cleanliness, both in public spaces as well as individual rooms. The clean up each day was cursory: not all used towels were collected, coffee set up was not refreshed; bath products were not checked or refreshed. There was no bureau/dresser in the room so unpacking for a 3 day weekend as two people staying in the room was a challenge. With a bit more effort and attention to detail and customer experience, the charm of the inn would shine, and you wouldn't feel like you were overpaying simply for location."
