"We loved staying in this hotel with its unique history and beautiful decor. It is a special place in a wonderful location and we had fabulous views from our balcony. The walk to Morcote took under 30 minutes with lovely views but you need to wear trainers as the path is uneven. We also enjoyed walking to the castle through the vineyards and exploring lake Lugano by bus and boat. We tended to get Uber taxi’s back up to to hotel as it was a steep climb ( cost 18CHF) "

"The location of this hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the views of the lake are stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself can definitely use a few upgrades For 1 the Air conditioner is pretty terrible. It’s pretty much a fan, the room gets pretty warm during the day. "Das Personal war freundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant war ganz gut. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, leider aber auch ein paar wenige Ameisen. Das Hotel steht oben auf einem Berg, den man nur mit dem Auto erreichen kann. Man kann aber auch ca. 40 min hochlaufen. Der Pool ist sehr klein für die Anzahl der Gäste. Das Hotel ist auch sehr hellhörig. Ab 20 uhr sitzt niemand mehr an der Rezeption. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es einige."
