You can cross the bridge by foot (including the, rather expensive, "bridge walk" train or car. The best "free" view is from the Barangaroo Reserve (just follow the path hugging the shore).

Me and my husband climbed it!!! Best experience I’ve ever done- expensive at $300 each but worth every penny
