Christa was a fantastic hostess, and a wealth of knowledge about Sicily. Highly recommend staying here. It's close and easy to get to Syracuse, but away from the crowds. A very relaxing, lovely experience. Great for families or couples.

The owner is a delight! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and agriculture. The grounds are well kept. It was a unique stay with lots of interesting artifacts on the grounds. We also enjoyed the animals.

The property is set in the middle of papyrus fields and next to a nature reserve. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was better than expected.

Room was spacious with excellent shower and washing facilities. The place was spotless with the large outside areas well tended. The outdoor breakfast was varied and lovely. The staff in particular were kind, attentive and helpful. The hotel is in a nature reserve so the countryside was spectacular. Quiet in the evenings with a little bar by the pool. Wonderful.

Well I appreciated the bigger than normal Italian shower, thank you, but there seems to be an aversion to having soap holders in the actual showers, 4 th place in a row on my Italian sojourn without a soap holder, basic but tasty breakfast reasonable choice, property set in an orange grove, enjoy the animals roaming around, good for kids and a break from high density Italian cities, yes I liked it there and would recommend.

The fact that it is part of a natural reserve with papyrus growing nearby is so unique. The staff were exceptional, from suggesting activities to helping with our rental car

Rural surroundings

The property was in the middle of a rural area with lemon trees, ponies, chickens and peacocks in enclosures. It was a nice change from the bustling city Syracuse.

This is a wonderful accommodation. The hostess and staff were excellent and helpful. The breakfast was a nice plentiful buffet served under a grapevine covered gazebo. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hostess also suggested several local restaurants that were excellent.

If you're looking for an American-style 5* hotel, then this probably isn't for you, but if you're looking for somewhere with real character, beautiful furniture, a delicious home-made breakfast, excellent staff and a warm welcome, then you have found the right place. The hotel has extensive grounds in a quiet countryside setting and next to a nature reserve. The owners could not be more helpful and welcoming. There is no restaurant for an evening meal, but there are plenty to choose from in Syracuse, an easy 10-minute drive away. I stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Dette er en fantastisk plass som oversteg våre forventninger. Frokosten var fantastisk med godt utvalg. Den serveres utendørs i skyggen. Eiendommen er godt vedlikeholdt og har fine uteområder. Mange dyr. Bassenget er ok. Her er det en slitte treplater som gulv rundt bassenget. Ekstrasengen, eller sovesofaen, på rommet vårt var veldig vondt å sove på. Men utover dette var oppholdet helt supert. Veldig hyggelig og serviceminded personale. Anbefales på det sterkeste

La struttura è fantastica e diversa dalle altre. È ricca di oggetti della cultura siciliana e ha anche un museo dedicato, pieno di oggetti della tradizione collezionati dai proprietari. Bellissime le camere,la sala comune e la biblioteca. Il giardino è bello e curato. Ci sono anche degli animali e una piccola piscina. La zona è strategica per vositare siracusa,ragusa e la riserva del Cassibile e Vendicari. Consigliatissimo!
