"A very welcoming hotel in the middle of Fish Hoek. All the staff we met could not do enough for us. Although there is no restaurant, The Peak coffee shop at 50m was great."
"The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside.
If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. ...
"Allen and the other staff were great! It is a 1880 Mansion with 8 guest rooms and impeccably restored/maintained filled with antiques, just very relaxing. I would highly recommend for its charm, location and staff. Satori Restaurant 5-10min walk down street is Amazing food and service (ask for Shantell). Highly recommend!"

"Like staying at grandma's, warm and welcoming but a little dated.. although charming....central hotel it is so dont choose if effected by road noise "
"The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night.
