Excellent staff, amenities, safety, and conveniently listed — all for only 1000 PHP more than a barebones apartelle-style property further from downtown Tacloban. Onsite parking, secure entry and front desk managed throughout the night. The attached cafe, restaurant and massage spa make it easy to stay in if you want a break from the bustle of downtown Tacloban. It’s an old property, so some things like the television are not in excellent shape, but when traveling TV is the last thing on my mind, and it’s I need to watch something I can just do so on my device with their free wifi.
When cats are comfortable around the humans, you know it’s a relatively safe area

The Rosvenil Hotel was quiet, clean and the staff were extremly polite and very friendly. The staff members were all so courteous and humble. It was such a pleasure staying there and when I return to Tacloban, I will make sure to book another reservation at this hotel, as it gave me peace of mind, knowing I was in a secure, safe environment.

This was a great place , friendly staff, clean room, elevator and ramps for handicap accessibility, front siting patio with tables and swing , fish pond was nice. Shower was tall enough for foreigners with good water pressure , rooms where cleaned daily (and fast) , there are tricycles and multicabs right down the street for transportation. The price wasn't the cheapest or most in town but was a very nice place , and the food for breakfast was great selection and taste that alone made it worth staying here only negatives I can think of is it would have been nice to have a refrigerator , and the internet past word you need to get coupons form desk for EVERY device every few days I was happy with my stay there and would stay there again

Home away from Home

The room was clean and spacious. Even if facilities are not new they are well kept and maintained. It is a home away from home type of hotel. I just wish that for their rate the comfort rooms should have a lock system that works ( there was no lock for the CR) and there were no fridge for the family room. Breakfast was okay but the food warmer was not working so food served in the morning was already cold. But overall it was a good experience and everyone was friendly and the Thai massage service was really excellent!
